In this blog post I want to tell you about one of our favorite vaporizers, the Stag. The Stag vaporizer is a small pen vaporizer for use with oils and concentrates. It also has an optional e-juice attachment, but more on that later.
The stag comes in three variations, the Glass Globe, the Skillet, and the Stealth. All three of these versions all contain a high grade nichrome coil, which is corrosion-resistant and has a melting point of about 1,400 °C, as well as a ceramic bowl. The Globe and Skillet Kit contain a cotton free silica wick, which does not burn and does not add any ‘off’ flavours to the vapor. The Stealth Kit contains a newer Ceramiwick, which is a porous ceramic rod that provides an even cleaner hit.
All units all operate the same. Five quick presses of the button to turn the unit on, and five quick presses to turn the unit back off. Each unit loads the oil or concentrate into the ceramic cup (the nail), which houses either the ceramiwick or silica wick. Simply press and hold the Stag button down and slowly inhale until you can taste the vapor. To avoid burning or overheating, the Stag will shut off after 10 seconds of the button being pressed and held. You could also ‘feather’ the button on and off to keep the Stag at a consistence temperature and inhale for a longer period of time.
With the three available kits, there are a few differences.
The Glass Globe Kit – The Glass Globe Kit is exactly how it sounds. The oil or concentrate is loaded into the silica wick chamber, and the glass globe is placed over top. This is a great kit for when you don’t mind showing off or want to see the vapor you are inhaling.
The Skillet and Stealth Kits – These items are a bit more conservative in design, hiding the oil or concentrate inside the unit. The Stealth Kit is more compact in size and finished in gunmetal. It also contains the new ceramiwick. However the skillet kit can also be upgraded to the Ceramiwick nail through an optional add on.
The Stag also has a few additional optional accessories to extend it’s use. Among these are the Mag Nail, Ceramiwick Skillet Bowl, Liquid Attachment and Carrying lanyard. The lanyard comes free with each Stag Purchase.
The Mag Nail is a ceramic bowl containing a double thick silica wick. This provides thicker hits and a funnel for larger bowls. This attachment is only compatible with the Glass Globe kit.
The Ceramiwick accessory upgrades the regular skillet kit bowl to the ceramiwick technology.
The liquid attachment allows you to use any of your Stag devices with E-juice and E-liquids. This transforms the Stag into a E-Cigarette and smoking cessation aid.
The carrying lanyard is a simple attachment that connects to the middle of your Stag allowing it to be handsfree.
All three models come with a one year warranty.
